The eighth story, L. T.'s theory of Pets, is hilarious and more about marriage than pets. The Road Virus Heads North was spine-chilling and brought to mind that old saying: "Every picture tells a story." The tenth story, Lunch at The Gotham Café, was another story about the perils of marriage. Eleventh, That Feeling…, was about Deja vu. 1408, although scary, the movie with John Cusack was even better (or worse, depending on how you look at it). Riding the Bullet was very good. I think it's also been made into a film, but I haven't seen it. The story is pretty eerie and reminds us that death awaits everyone. The last story, Lucky Quarter, is about a cleaning lady at a hotel who gets a quarter tip, which she decides to drop into a slot machine. You can probably imagine what happens there.
