As a whole, it isn't all that similar though. We have an innocent girl that gets entangled with vampires and werewolves, although in this case, the whole school is full of monsters and we add dragons and witches to the mix. We have the dangerous vampire love interest. He does tell the MC he is dangerous and she shouldn't be with him.... but it's not obnoxiously mentioned over and over. Honestly, in general, Jaxon is a pretty good boyfriend material compared to Edward. There is no stalking, for one thing. And he manages to have quite wholesome moments with our MC, Grace. The vampires don't sparkle! Despite the silliness and clichés just raining, I couldn't help but continue listening. I might even pick up the next book because the ending was quite intriguing. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

Grace's world changed when she joined the academy. At the academy she is a mere mortal among gods...or monsters. She can't decide which faction she should join, or if she should join any of them. The one thing that unites them is their hatred of her. Then there's Jaxon Vega, a vampire with deadly secrets who hasn't felt anything for a hundred years. Jaxon has walled himself off for a reason. Does someone want to wake the sleeping monster in him? Is Grace the bait? Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
