I am having a great time reading these holiday books, plus this is also a mystery. This is the second Catered Mystery that I have read, and the stories are light and delicious entertainment. The characters are "real" people that are not perfect individuals with a perfect body and a perfect life. Libby Simmons constantly nibbles on chocolate, but her cooking ideas are mouth watering. Libby is a bit timid and a little overweight, a likeable character. Her boyfriend is a timid undertaker, who also loves eating. But Bernie Simmons, the other sister, is a fashion connoisseur and walking Wikipedia. This episode delves into the televised cooking show, the world of cooking, and the gullibility of people. Crawford presents a PG rated mystery with many delicious ideas intertwined in the story. (

A mystery so cozy it invites you to cuddle up by the fire. The cullinary tips okay throughout the narration but the recipes at the end have little to do with the food included in the book. (
