Unfortunately, I didn't like this novel as much as I thought I would when I picked it up. It's about Rory and Maggie. Rory is a grad student who winds up in Maggie's class. Rory is instantly smitten with Maggie, and then slowly but surely Maggie finds herself falling love with Rory as well.

It started at the beginning. It took me a lot to get into it. Everything seemed to be a sentence with four or five parts before we got to the period at the end. As the book went on there were parts of it where the description was really wooden. And a lot of the dialogue, especially Maggie's dialogue just didn't seem like how the character as she had been described at the beginning of the book would talk.

I do wish that I'd liked the book better. I've read may/december romances and professor/student romances and I really wanted to like this one. But it is a little bit obvious that it's a first book.
