I love the witches best, but this book wasn't quite as good as Witches Abroad and Wyrd Sisters. Still quite entertaining. I love the bits talking about the existence of parallel worlds.
I'd say for two days that's showing remarkable restraint.

I have just finished re-reading Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett and I am still finding new things to laugh at. Missed in all previous readings was Magrat Garlick's bout of Bali Belly which Nanny Ogg described, in a postcard to her family, as "dire rear".

Witches abroad didn't last long. Nor did Slay-ride and my GoReviewThatBook request is another thriller Killing floor which I've just started. After this it's time for some serious Fantasy/SF I think. Maybe even LoTR.

I'm shocked to see I only read 4 books this month. Hmmm. Well, my favorite was easily Terry Pratchett's Witches Abroad . Giggled the whole way through it, and was thrilled when it took a decidedly Cajun turn.
The answer is YES to Witches abroad and an ...eeh... maybe to The amazing Maurice and his rodents.
I think his humour can best be described as "british", and not everyone enjoys that.

Witches Abroad is a good witchy/fairy story one... but Guards Guards is probably the Pratchett book that I'd recommend to anyone who has never read any Discworld stuff before, mainly because it was the first one recommended to me, and certainly captured my interested.
