I didn't get anything this month, but that's fine as I got a bonus batch book last month. What did you get?

Ago 22, 2008, 3:46pm (topo)Message 2: lorax

Nothing again, of course.

Ago 22, 2008, 3:48pm (topo)Message 3: ladygata

-btw, the only one I really wanted, the Steampunk anthology, is $7.99 on amazon for preorder. If you're at all bummed for not snagging it, that should cheer you up.

(don't mean to be an advertisement for the book, just an FYI)

Nothing...but, hey, I needed the break! I'll try again next month. No problem.

I guess I need to finish reading the one I snagged last month, eh? :)

Ago 22, 2008, 3:52pm (topo)Message 5: infiniteletters

*sigh* I really thought I had some chance this month, what with the science fiction.

Ago 22, 2008, 3:54pm (topo)Message 6: littlebookworm

None for me, either - need to get to the other ARCs I have anyway.

Ago 22, 2008, 3:58pm (topo)Message 7: 24girl

Ago 22, 2008, 3:58pm (topo)Message 8: DevourerOfBooks

Oooh, I'm getting Tears of the Desert: A Memoir of Survival in Darfur. That is very exciting.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:00pm (topo)Message 9: bnbooklady

I'm getting Greasy Rider, which I hope will be a better road trip book than Queen of the Road was, because I really didn't enjoy that one.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:04pm (topo)Message 10: lovemybooks

congrats #8! I really want to read that one.

but I'm pretty stoked with having snagged Voices since it's three books in one shot!

Ago 22, 2008, 4:05pm (topo)Message 11: Bookmarque

Zilch. but am still waiting for July so am not too bummed.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:08pm (topo)Message 12: jenlaw77

Nothing here either :(

Ago 22, 2008, 4:08pm (topo)Message 13: Alirambles

I got The Swap! I'm 2 for 2 so far, but missed out on the bonus batches.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:10pm (topo)Message 14: lorax

That's the one I requested, too. The ER site says "on sale Oct. 1", so that's not too long to wait, I guess. (I don't do Amazon.)

Ago 22, 2008, 4:11pm (topo)Message 15: klarusu

Third one in a row, The Mighty Algorithm must like me! Snagged A Portrait of the Arsonist as a Young Man this time. I was keeping my fingers crossed for the Steampunk anthology so I'm most happy to hear that it's already available for pre-order. The ER program has done it's job on that one as I didn't know it existed before seeing it in the list and it's a definite 'To Buy' for me now.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:12pm (topo)Message 16: dara85

All I got was a rock!

It has been a long dry spell.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:12pm (topo)Message 17: GwenH

There were a number of interesting books for August, but I'm pleased to have been allocated Zoe's Tale. It turns out that John Scalzi is the writer guest of honor at this years LOSCON 35 in November (my local Los Angeles annual SF convention). Perfect timing!

Ago 22, 2008, 4:16pm (topo)Message 18: MobileMaker

I'm getting Along the Grapevine Trail: Vineyards and Wineries in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska by Starley Talbott.

My wife and I drink a lot of wine from California, Washington, France, and Australia, but I never think of South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska as wine-producing states. I'm really looking forward to learning about wines from that part of the country.

Thank you Abby and LibraryThing.

I got Company of Liars - I am shocked (and thrilled)!!

Ago 22, 2008, 4:21pm (topo)Message 20: BookishRuth

I got Night of Flames, one of my top three!

Ago 22, 2008, 4:24pm (topo)Message 21: tardis

I got Cul de Sac which was the one I wanted most because I've been enjoying it in the newspaper (although I'd have taken Zoe's Tale quite happily).

Ago 22, 2008, 4:27pm (topo)Message 22: exlibrismcp

I'm getting The Faith of Barack Obama by Stephen Mansfield. This is my first ER book. Since I do have in interest in both religion and politics, this should be an interesting read.

Ago 22, 2008, 4:27pm (topo)Message 23: Alirambles

I got The Swap (http://www.librarything.com/work/3021683) this month! Last month's book never came in the mail, so I'm really hoping this one shows up!

Ago 22, 2008, 4:33pm (topo)Message 25: anysia

Something very different this time: Silent but Deadly. A nice change of pace.

I'm new to Librarything, and will be getting In Hovering Flight by Joyce Hinnefeld. I'm so excited! What a treat!

Ago 22, 2008, 4:38pm (topo)Message 29: lorax

...one of my top three...

...the one I wanted most...

...keeping my fingers crossed for...

Hmmm.

Maybe next month I should request everything, and then trade afterwards with someone who got the book I wanted instead of the one they wanted. ;)

Ago 22, 2008, 4:42pm (topo)Message 30: ninjapenguin

Oooh, I got Mr. White's Confession which looked really interesting. I can't wait! (I'd also like to receive my July book sometime soon, pleeeease, Mr. Postman.)

Ago 22, 2008, 4:47pm (topo)Message 31: Bookmarque

There were quite a few books that caught my eye for this month that I wanted (including the one about ridiculous court cases), but I'm just happy to get Tears of the Desert: A Memior of Survival in Darfur as my fourth book in the program. :)

Ago 22, 2008, 4:58pm (topo)Message 34: valkylee

Argh, didn't manage to snag one this time :( I was really hoping for the fashion book, too!

Ago 22, 2008, 5:04pm (topo)Message 35: mint910

Necropath for me.

Ago 22, 2008, 5:05pm (topo)Message 37: jemsw

I got The Dangerous Joy of Dr. Sex and Other True Stories! I'm quite pleased, as that was one of the ones that I put directly on my wishlist, reasoning that I definitely wanted it. I seem to be having a heck of a lucky streak.

#39 -Quiver by Peter Leonard is a good book. I think you will like it

Ago 22, 2008, 5:54pm (topo)Message 43: shirley8

I also got an LT message today that says I am to get Quiver, I am still waiting for the previous month's book as well,Protect and Defend.
All my books seem to take ages to get to me,possibly because I live in Scotland ?

Ago 22, 2008, 5:55pm (topo)Message 44: whitewavedarling

I got Army of the Republic :) Not one of the ones that I thought I had a good chance at (there were those), but certainly something I'm looking forward to....

Ago 22, 2008, 6:05pm (topo)Message 45: foggidawn

I'm getting Cul-de-sac -- there were few that interested me this time, so I was surprised to get this. Looking forward to it!

Getting Cul-de-sac as well. I think that I selected two or three this month that looked as if they'd be up my street, and for the second month in a row (out of two!) I've struck lucky.

Ago 22, 2008, 6:25pm (topo)Message 47: Bookmarque

#23 & 32 - hubby and I are heading to Oregon next month to do Pinot tasting. First time there. We're looking forward to it.

Got nothin' for the third time. What do I have to do to get something? ;-)

Ago 22, 2008, 7:36pm (topo)Message 49: Storeetllr

I was fortunate this month to snag Mr. White's Confession, which is right up my alley.

#30 ~ I hope it arrives soon too. I'm waiting for my July AND May books (though Abby warned me the May one was not coming right away, so I'm not too freaked). I just hope they don't all come at the same time!

Ago 22, 2008, 7:40pm (topo)Message 50: Storeetllr

#48 Just hang in there, yapete, and keep requesting books that look good to you. I tried for 3 or 4 months before I got one, and then I've gotten something every month since. I think it's helped that I wrote prompt reviews of the first and second books I got, but, as I say, that was after a 3-4 month dry period at the beginning.

Ago 22, 2008, 7:48pm (topo)Message 51: lorax

#48:

There's a great deal of luck involved -- you can request a book you really, really want and are a great match for (you own all the author's books and lots of similar books) and get shot down, or you can request something on a whim in an area you know nothing about and get lucky.

If you just want to "get something" the best strategy would be to request everything -- you may not get one you want but you'll get something. ;)

(No luck for five straight requests now....I'm beginning to think my "only request books I'd buy anyway" strategy is a losing one.) Either that or there's a hard cutoff and after having received four books you don't get anymore, ever.

Ago 22, 2008, 7:51pm (topo)Message 52: infiniteletters

"Either that or there's a hard cutoff and after having received four books you don't get anymore, ever."

I would think that too, if I didn't remember people getting higher numbers in the "how many?" threads.

Ago 22, 2008, 7:53pm (topo)Message 53: lovemybooks

#51--Well if you're willing to spend the time reading, requesting books you might be interested in but wouldn't buy isn't such a bad strategy. Since the book is free, it's a great time to take a chance.

Ago 22, 2008, 7:57pm (topo)Message 54: rastaphrog

Another month of nothing for me. If I was a baseball player "hitting" this badly I'd be let go.*G* Oh well, I still have books on my TBR pile, so it's not as if I have to resort to rereading stuff.

Ago 22, 2008, 8:01pm (topo)Message 55: caroline123

Nothing this month.........September's coming.

Ago 22, 2008, 8:07pm (topo)Message 56: CarolO

Yeah! I'm getting Guilty by Reason of Stupidity by Joel Seidermann and I am really looking forward to reading about the crazy court cases.

Thanks Abby! Thanks LT!

Ago 22, 2008, 8:11pm (topo)Message 57: detailmuse

Nothing for me, but I'll be looking forward to the reviews for A Map of Home and Cul de Sac, they're already in my wish list!

Ago 22, 2008, 8:16pm (topo)Message 58: lorax

53:

I have a better sense of what I'd read than that. Which is why I don't actually employ that strategy. (The wink was to indicate that I don't actually expect anyone to, since I think most people would be more discerning than to request absolutely everything!)

The books aren't free, either -- they're in exchange for a review. If I want to take a chance, I'll check the book out from the library -- also that way I know I'm not depriving someone who wants the book.

Mensagem editada pelo autor, Ago 22, 2008, 8:17pm.

Ago 22, 2008, 9:08pm (topo)Message 59: lovemybooks

Lorax--I wasn't suggesting you request them all, just taking a bit more risk with books that might interest you.

Funny enough, I buy more books than I read so your strategy would never work for me. ;)

Ago 22, 2008, 9:12pm (topo)Message 60: LucasTrask

I got my third ER book (and first non-fiction one) - Surrender All.

Ago 22, 2008, 9:22pm (topo)Message 61: BTRIPP

(sigh)

I'm shocked that I didn't get matched to ANY of the books I requested this time.

Usually, there's no choice, this time there was a ton of non-fiction, a good half-dozen of which I was interested in reading ... so for the first time ever, I put in a load of requests.

But, noooooooo ....

The last 266 books I've read have been non-fiction, and I've reviewed the most recent 237 of those. If I don't "match" in a month with as much non-fiction as there was this time, what's the use?

I spend a hell of a lot of hours each month reading through the plethora of (usually pointless) E.R. Talk posts, and I'm beginning to think this is colossal waste of time ...

Ago 22, 2008, 9:22pm (topo)Message 62: Heather19

Woot! Guilty by Reason of Stupidity! I loooove those kind of books, have about four other "stupid criminals/cases" type books, so I'm very excited about this one.

Ago 22, 2008, 11:13pm (topo)Message 69: caitemaire

Voices by Arnaldur Indridason for me. {{no touchstone for either yet...}}

I understand from ER write up that it is the third in a series and the publisher is sending all three. I am beside myself with bookish happiness.

Ago 22, 2008, 11:17pm (topo)Message 70: AaronWTimm

I'll be recieving Cul De Sac, which I am very excited about. Even Bill Waterson author of calvin and hobbes praised this comic.

Ago 22, 2008, 11:26pm (topo)Message 71: melannen

I'm getting Art of Darkness, hooray!

Which makes my seventh ER book won, and my first since May (I guess finally finishing the ER book I'd been working through since March was a good strategy...) And they've all been non-fiction, which is odd on the surface since three-quarters of my library is fiction, but I'd guess that the picking of "similar books" works differently between fiction and non-fiction. (Also, at last count, I owned something like 35 out of the 50 most popular non-fiction books on LT. It can't hurt to have the books that even clueless publicists will have heard of.)

I do think that the only winning strategy is to request lots of books; every time I've requested over a dozen books I've got one; when I request only three or four I never win, and I've never got one that was in my top few picks for the month. If you really don't see very many which interest you, then no, don't request books you won't read or enjoy. But I have a fairly broad spectrum of reading interests, and every book I've gotten through ER has been something I'd have willingly read anyway. And several of them have been much more my sort of thing than I'd have guessed from the blurb text...

Ago 22, 2008, 11:44pm (topo)Message 72: mollishka

I'm getting Tears of the Desert. Not the one I would have chosen, but considering I own Infidel and Angelina Jolie's Notes From My Travels, it's not really surprising I suppose.

Ago 22, 2008, 11:48pm (topo)Message 73: FranklyMyDarling

Score! I'm getting Forgotten Fashion. Sounds like this will be fun a read.

I'm getting Guilty by Reason of Stupidity. I have no idea why (beyond the fact that I requested it, obviously).

My luck with LT books seems to be really weird. Nothing for over six months in the program, then books from the regular and bonus batches in April, then nothing for a few months, then a July bonus batch book immediately followed by one from the regular batch in August. Good things come in twos?

Ago 23, 2008, 12:21am (topo)Message 77: ReneeMarie

Second month participating. First month for a book. I'll be receiving Murder on the Eiffel Tower, according to today's notification.

Oddly, I already received an ARC that, according to the generic memo accompanying it, I received due to my participation in LT ER. And it wasn't MOTET, it was The Whiskey Rebels.

MOTET and TWR have different publishers. Do publishers have direct access to who requested which ARCs, or is there some report they receive instead that says where to send the books and to whom? (I'm working my way back through the "how does this work" posts, and have read the FAQ, but haven't seen a similar question asked yet.)

The other possibility, I suppose, is that it's something I triggered myself. I lucked into an ARC of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society from the bookstore where I work. Read it right away. Loved it. Raved to fellow booksellers, managers, etc. Then I contacted the publisher to see if I could get more copies of the ARC for my store (they sent 3 more).

I have the URL to my LT profile page in my .sig. So in addition to knowing I work at a bookstore, thanks to the content of my e-mail message, they know I participate in LT ER if they clicked the link. And if so they also know my library is heavy in history and historical fiction, and that I'm the co-founder of a book group that reads nothing but historical fiction.

Think they just automatically added me to some distribution list? Is that even plausible?

Curiouser and curiouser, Renee
(who is happy to take turns getting ARCs if it means someone else will be happy a month I didn't get one)

Ago 23, 2008, 12:26am (topo)Message 78: cal8769

Nothing for me but I have been blessed in the past. Oh well, I definitely can't complain!

Ago 23, 2008, 12:59am (topo)Message 79: moonstormer

I'm getting Iraq through a bullet hole, which I'm pretty excited about! it's my first book since i joined the early reviewers, so I'm really happy! Now I'll have to check for the mail every day. I requested a bunch, though, and guess I'll just have to buy them on my own, as I have with some previous batches. I just hope new deals open up in a few months - I'm moving to South Africa and I'd love to be able to get books down there, too.

Ago 23, 2008, 1:52am (topo)Message 80: NorthernStar

I'm getting Ghost in the Mirror by Leslie Rule - couldn't get touchstones to work properly on the title

Ago 23, 2008, 2:51am (topo)Message 81: loopyloo100

#42 Great - I hope I enjoy it too!

#43 I haven't received Protect and Defend either Shirley8 so no I don't think it's because you're in Scotland, as I'm not that far north! Hopefully it'll be with us soon.

Ago 23, 2008, 7:16am (topo)Message 82: Nitestar

I am getting Greasy Rider and I am thrilled. I only requested 3 books this month because of the selection available to Canada and I was sure I would not be picked!!! WooooooHooooo!

Ago 23, 2008, 7:51am (topo)Message 83: imperfectionist

Nothing! But I'm kind of relieved, since school starts soon and I still have some books I need to read...

Ago 23, 2008, 8:36am (topo)Message 84: Kasthu

How do you know if you received anything or not? I'm new to this, so I'm unsure. I'm assuming since I haven't heard anything, that I didn't get anything this month.

Ago 23, 2008, 8:40am (topo)Message 85: JGoto

You should get a message either way. Did you sign up as an early reviewer? (Just joining this chat group isn't enough.)

Ago 23, 2008, 9:12am (topo)Message 86: Kasthu

I see where they post it; I received Murder on the Eiffel Tower. Would have loved the Michael Cox, but since its my first time, it doesn't really matter. I'm just lucky to have gotten anything at all!

PS--did anyone here receive the Michael Cox book? Can't remember what it's called, but I loved The Meaning of Night.

I've been picked to receive Dime Novel Desperadoes: The Notorious Maxwell Brothers by John E. Hallwas. This is the second book I've been picked for, but the first has yet to arrive (that was a May pick) so I am keeping my fingers crossed that this one DOES make it to my house! With school starting this week (I teach high school), I will soon need a happy surprise to come home to! *LOL*

The Whiskey Rebels was a bonus batch book from July. Murder on the Eiffel Tower is from the main batch in August. You can get a book from each batch, so unless something really bizarre is happening like if you didn't request The Whiskey Rebels, I'd say you just got it the normal way.

Ago 23, 2008, 11:48am (topo)Message 91: bedda

Mr. White's Confession for me, which is a surprise. Since it was so popular I didn't really think I had a chance. Not that I mind...

I got Hot Girl....I think I requested this one on accident. Oh well

Ago 23, 2008, 12:53pm (topo)Message 93: julyso

I got Hell Bent by William G. Tapply this month-yeah!!!

Ago 23, 2008, 1:53pm (topo)Message 94: DianeS

I got Sticklers, Sideburns and Bikinis. Since I love words, word origins, and history (not necessarily in that order), I know I'm gonna love it! And I suspect my brother will enjoy it as well. Gonna have to work on that TBR pile!

Ago 23, 2008, 3:17pm (topo)Message 95: bibliobeck

I thought the choice this month was amazing (thanks Abby!) and requested more than I usually do. I am delighted that I got Color Mastery: 10 Principles for Creating Stunning Quilts by Maria Peagler as I love crafting and am particularly interested in the use of colour. It's my first non-fiction book for ER - can't wait for it to get here.

Ago 23, 2008, 5:26pm (topo)Message 96: lorax

59>

I understood what you were suggesting.

I was explaining that, for two reasons, I do not choose to take risks with my ER requests:

1. I have a reasonably good sense of what I will enjoy, in terms of general area for nonfiction or genre for fiction.

2. I consider it impolite to request something that I am "taking a risk on" when I know that every book on the list is someone's first choice, and I could end up with a book I can't finish that someone else really wanted.

Ago 23, 2008, 5:39pm (topo)Message 97: muzzie

I too will be receiving Murder on the Eiffel Tower. I am really looking forward to reading it. Looks to be an entertaining read. I like mystery, history, and learning about other cities.

Books I have received are in line with my tag mirror. I am one who selects quite a few, but not all, since I am an eclectic reader. I rarely could pin down which book I would like over another from those I requested.

There is not much I will not read. I could not even say that the genre matters. I might enjoy a light paperback or ebook romance (my favorite), a classic, a book on statistics, training and adult education, business management, cooking, poetry, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, thrillers, or children’s literature.

I still have about of a third of my library to enter into the database. I wonder how it might affect the books I do or do not receive.

I'm with you: I request only books I'm truly interested in, usually four or five in each batch. I've been quite lucky and have gotten some gems. I'm currently in the midst of The Given Day by Dennis Lehane. I'll post a review as soon as I finish it.

Thanks. When I went back and checked the ER list, I didn't notice the different "request by" date, and the ARC arrived shortly after the request date cutoff for August. I probably *did* request it out of the July bonus batch, although wasn't expecting it because there was no comment on my profile page either way, and I had already been told I wasn't getting a July book.

I'm also getting Voices by Arnaldur Indridason. I was a little surprised since I got a July book and hadn't even posted the review yet, but very pleased nonetheless.

#69, I realized that this was the 3rd book of the series, so I immediately logged onto the library's catalog and requested the first 2, intending to read them first, forgetting that we're to get all three books in the package! How exciting!

I got Hell Bent by William G. Tapply this month. This is my first ER book.

Nothing...I am looking forward to September's list of books.

SuziR-Congrats on getting your first ER book=)

I snagged Nobody's Home by Dubravka Ugresic (the touchstones aren't working). This is a book of essays and not something I immediately thought would fit with my library (which is mostly contemporary fiction), but it's a book I absolutely wanted, so I'm thrilled. I guess the algorithm knows me very well!

I just got back from vacation and got the best surprise: I'm getting Company of Liars! Of all the books I put on 'request' this is the one I wanted most! I should be just about finish my present book by the time it comes. This sounds like the best one yet! Thank you LTER.

I'm gettingIraq Through a Bullet Hole. It's my second in five tries. I know not to hold my breath for the mailman, relax grasshoppers.

Ago 25, 2008, 1:24pm (topo)Message 108: WillowOne

I didn't snag any thing on the list, but there is still hope for the one bonus batch book! I have been enjoying my TBR books in the meantime. I posted some books on the "Who Wants it Next" board to give to someone else if anyone wants to look.

Ago 25, 2008, 2:46pm (topo)Message 109: lorin77

Wow! my ER copy of Silent but Deadly arrived already! That's an amazing turn-around time.

Ago 25, 2008, 3:30pm (topo)Message 110: d_perlo

My husband and I are receiving Peter Wicked: A Matty Graves Novel. This will be our first Early Reviewer book.

Ago 25, 2008, 3:41pm (topo)Message 111: BookishRuth

Night of Flames showed up in Pennsylvania today. That was FAST!

Ago 25, 2008, 4:03pm (topo)Message 112: sskwire

I'm getting A Glass of Time by Michael Cox, and got Brideshead Revisited last month. The timing's perfect on the Michael Cox. I've been dying for a new mystery!

nothing here...

Ago 26, 2008, 12:26am (topo)Message 114: CarolO

I received Guilty by Reason of Stupidity in the mail today, this is the quickest turn around of the 3 ER books that I have received. I already started reading it and it is FUNNY...truth really is stranger then fiction!

I just received Along the Grapevine Trail: Vineyards and Wineries in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska by Starley Talbott. This book has already been released, so I'd better put it at the top of my ER list.

I received my first book as an Early Reviewer. I was thrilled! Night of Flames - a WWII novel - my favourite time period and setting for a book. It's already read and I'm working on my review.

Ago 31, 2008, 9:54am (topo)Message 117: LeHack

Nothing this month. I requested only those books that I really really wanted to read. I guess this will give me some time to hit the TBR list. I still haven't received last month's book.

Ago 31, 2008, 10:40am (topo)Message 118: ThePam

I got "Sticklers, Sideburns and Bikinis" by Graeme Donald. Nothin's showed up in the post, however.

Ago 31, 2008, 4:14pm (topo)Message 119: keywestnan

I'm getting The Dangerous Joy of Dr. Sex and Other True Stories by the excellently named Pagan Kennedy -- looking forward to it -- still waiting on Effigy from July but have already received The Whiskey Rebels from the July bonus batch and am liking it a lot so far.

Set 1, 2008, 3:48pm (topo)Message 120: d_perlo

Peter Wicked arrived last week and I'm half way through with it. I should have a review ready next week. (Fast turnaround.)

Set 1, 2008, 7:57pm (topo)Message 121: russelllindsey

I was picked to receive "Dime Novel Desperadoes: The Notorious Maxwell Brothers" too. I'm very much looking forward to reading and reviewing it.

Set 3, 2008, 5:34pm (topo)Message 122: davidnpalla

Dime Novel Desperadoes: The Notorious Maxwell Brothers just arrived! I'm doubly excited because the first book I was selected to receive (in May) never arrived. I'll start reading it right away! Yippee!

Set 3, 2008, 10:02pm (topo)Message 123: whitewavedarling

I wouldn't give up on that May book yet unless you heard it definately wasn't coming! I've heard quite a few folks talk about having a book show up three or four months after it's been "promised"--and I've had one show up at least two months later.

Set 4, 2008, 2:40pm (topo)Message 124: hmajor

I was excited to get lucky two months in a row with "Iraq Through a Bullet Hole"; haven't gotten my copy yet, but looking forward to it soon...

Set 4, 2008, 4:12pm (topo)Message 125: bermudaonion

I got Tears of the Desert and it came today!

Set 4, 2008, 5:55pm (topo)Message 126: dorisdayrules

I got Quiver by Peter Leonard that's two books in a row, yay! I'm still ploughing my way through Batting on the Bosphorous - well now and again.

Set 4, 2008, 6:00pm (topo)Message 127: bluesalamanders

Heck, I just got my April book the other day - don't give up yet :)

Set 6, 2008, 9:53am (topo)Message 128: mindylou182

Set 7, 2008, 4:02pm (topo)Message 132: bgale11

I am excited to receive my first early reader from LT. I can't wait to get Hell Bent in the mail.

Set 7, 2008, 5:01pm (topo)Message 133: wcath

I did not snag anything from either the regular or the bonus batch. Thank goodness September's books are up. 8>)

Set 7, 2008, 7:41pm (topo)Message 134: d_perlo

I finished reviewing Peter Wicked: a Matty Graves Novel and am currently waiting on Any Given Doomsday. These are my first two books from the Early Reviewer program and I am really enjoying it so far.

Set 9, 2008, 9:42pm (topo)Message 135: SpongeBobFishpants

# 103 - I got this one too and it arrived about a week after the email. I'm about half way through it. Are you enjoying it? I was bouncing off the walls when i saw what I got.
