Sobre mimA software industry veteran, Skip has more than 35 years of technology product development and executive management experience — across Fortune 1000 companies and start-up businesses.
I enjoy reading mystery and fiction books to escape from the stress of work. However the majority of my library is a rather eclectic collection of business, technology, spiritual, design and personal development books. Amazon.com is one of the worst things that ever happened to my budget for hard to get non-fiction books.

I am looking at library thing and entered in 85 books and you share 25 books in common with me. I am interested in you perspective on this site and whether it has affected your reading or buying habits.
Are you also with Attenex? I saw some research papers in a google search that you may have submitted to the IEEE, my student membership doesn't allow me access though. Would love to read more of your thoughts.
Regards,
David

I noticed that you have a copy of my book "Idea Mapping" in your library. Just wanted to say thank you and I hope you found it useful. I haven't put all of my books into this library yet, but even with the small number I have -- we have 30 of this eclectic collection in common!
Warm Regards,
Jamie Nast

I suspect that could be any of us on this site! My wife helps me keep a lid on my book-buying, but it's amazing how much you can pick up used if you're in a good location.
I thought Seattle had one of the best used book stores in the country??
Actually, I haven't looked over your library but "the majority of my library is a rather eclectic collection of business, technology, spiritual, design and personal development books" might be a pretty good description of mine, too.
