- Maybe not about my library, but about a glimpse of what we get peering into one another's libraries:
They could hardly conceive that anybody who read the Testament could be other than a Holy Joe - could have another seemingly completely opposite side to his character. I cannnot remember a time when I did not take it as understood that everybody has at least two, if not twenty-two, sides to him. Their astonishment is what astonished me. Jesus, eh? People don't look very closely at other people, eh? Jesus!
