Sobre mimI am a confessed book addict. I read painfully slow because I try to savor each word. I keep track of how many books I read. I average about 2 per month. I usually have several books going at one time. I am a failed writer. An English degree and some really good creative writing courses under my belt didn't pay the rent, so I ended up in a technical job that does. I think about writing in my spare time.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaWe keep books all over the house. Art books in my wife's studio. Non-fiction and humor in the guest room. But my favorite, the fiction section, I keep in my office. I worked in a library while I was in college, so I have a great fondness for the way books look in stacks. It's comforting to me in ways that I suspect sunsets and sleeping kittens are to other people. They remind me of my dream, not yet dead, to finish something, someday, some piece of writing, and get people to read it. That's the goal.

Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,
