Sobre a minha bibliotecaEclectic
So many books so little time.
My personal library (books I own) is not large. Most of the books I read come from libraries. I have kept a list for the past few years of library books I've read and these are tagged. So for Library Thing I am merging everything.

I see a jazz book under your "random books" in the right hand column, there has been quite a bit of jazz discussion in the group "Club Read" under the "music interests" thread, if you'd like to pop in.
Best, Lois

Thank you for the link. James Lee Burke has been a favorite of mine for a long time !
How exciting to be traveling ! It sounds as if you are spending a fair amount of time....making it a really worth while trip ! I wish you and your wife safe travels.
My children have all settled close to home. Some times I feel this is a good thing, other times I wish for more distance :>0
I see that you added a book on step-by-step Spanish. Is this a refresher for you or are you just starting to learn the language ? I ask because I would so like to try learning Spanish but I'm not sure how easy that would be at this stage of the game. There are those Rosetta Stone CD's that guarantee you will learn but they are expensive.
Again thanks for the link.....have a wonderful time traveling.....

Thanks for adding my library to your list. I'd be interested to learn which are your favorite Middle East, Arabic, North African and Asian authors and books, and anything else you've read of special interest lately.
Best wishes,
Darryl

I share a dislike for sci fi and fantasy, so you will find very little of those categories in my listing, though there are a few. I try to read what should be read and also what especially interests me.
I have done considerable reading on vietnam, and the book you list by tobey Herzog interests me. Have you read it? Do you think I should?

It said "thank you." Here is another one in case it's drifting around cyberspace.
"Thank you for the advice. I will take it."

thanks for complimenting my blog. I have only just started so it is great to find out that someone I don't know has read it, never mind enjoyed it.

Thanks for the supportive comments. I did really enjoy Tremain's book and afterwards I was glad to hear it won the Orange.
Great to hear from a Kiwi. Where do you live? I spent my teen years in Tauranga and my Uni years in the South Island.
Happy reading!
Cheers,
Karen

Nice to hear from you,and many thanks for adding me to your list of 'Interesting Libraries'. I am always delighted when someone does this as it shows that I must be doing something right with the way I'm putting my collection together. It has taken many years but has been a true labour of love I assure you.
I see that we share 57 books at the moment.
Anyway all the best from the UK.

Thank you for your contact- I've added you to my interesting libraries list now.
Love your comment about yourself!
I was born in NZ, but only spent the first five years there.
Happy LibraryThinging.
