Sobre mimEzra Pound (1885-1972), an American expat, was a well-known Modernist poet of the 20th century.

"A man of genius has a right to any mode of expression."

"Genius... is the capacity to see ten things where the ordinary man sees one."

"I guess the definition of a lunatic is a man surrounded by them."

"The art of letters will come to an end before A.D. 2000. I shall survive as a curiosity."

Sobre a minha bibliotecaThose books included here are the Pound materials included at the Harry Ransom Center, University of Texas at Austin. See the HRC's catalog here.

Yale University holds 356 titles from Pound's collection of journals, magazines, and newspapers; these have not been included in his LT catalog. Records for them are available here.

"Properly, we should read for power. Man reading should be man intensely alive. The book should be a ball of light in one's hand."

"Literature is news that stays news."

If the people entering books in this library read this:

I was doing the author split for Harold Taylor and was unable to find any information on the work Discussion : some questions and answers found in this library. DO you have any information on this work that would link it to one of the other Harold Taylor's or confirm it as authored by a distinct Harold Taylor?

Thank you for your help.
RE: EP books at HRC UTX -- HRC also has Hugh Kenner and Guy Davenport materials. Have you found overlaps among these and if so, which titles? GD gave EP a copy of his Archilochus (Carmini Archilochi (Berkeley: U Cal Pr, 1964) translation and EP broke his silence one day by saying 'hedgehog knows one Big trick' (reply to Arky's/GD's 'Fox knows many/Hedgehog one/solid trick'(#183)) Are you working this Legacy from the HRC or elsewhere?
Did his library seriously not include any H.D.? I find that odd.
A better picture of il miglior fabbro, please. The hieratic gaudier or wyndham lewis portrait.
