Sobre mimI am a book lover in my 30s and I can't believe I never came across this website before! This is some sort of heaven... I live in Washington, DC - a city I love.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaMy library is as eclectic as can be; my interestes range from literature to science and the occasional political cartoons compilation. I have several Portuguese language books (I am Brazilian) and I have a love of German expressionism (think Thomas Mann). My little library is also overflowing with books on Israel, Judaism, the Holocaust and WWII, poetry, linguistics and philosophy.

Noticed you liked Ice Storm, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thank you so much for your reading suggestions. My public library has only one of Meir Shalev's,"A Boy and a Pigeon" so I will start with that and look for others by him.I see we both enjoy reading Nobel winners too.
Thank you for including me in your interesting libraries!
