Sobre mimFor the past five years I worked as a middle school teacher in a private school. This fall I'm entering an MAT (Secondary Ed/Spanish) program at Rhode Island College. As an undergraduate at UT-Austin I did a double major in Portuguese and Spanish, and I have done graduate work in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies. 
Sobre a minha bibliotecaMy library can be divided into three broad categories: books I have read for pleasure or interest, those I have read in college and grad school, those I have used as a middle school teacher, and those I collect (primarily prayer books and old geography texts). OK, make that four broad categories...
Here's how I use the rating stars:
***** I am madly in love with this book, probably for reasons that only make sense to me. You probably won't like it - as a matter of fact, you should stay away from it. Forewarned is forearmed.

*** This book is worthwhile if you're interested in the subject matter.

the fire or in the trash.
