Sobre mimI have always loved books. My parents, who could never agree on much of anything else, love books. My husband loves books. Both of my children love books.

I love old-fashioned public libraries, where people talk quietly, and there is a reverence for books. I worked in one for eleven years. The high point of my work week was finding the New York Times Book Review in my mailbox.

It is important to me how a book feels in my hands when I hold it. And, yes, sometimes I do judge a book by its cover.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaSome of the books listed here are in the joint custody of my husband (zenarchr) and me. But our interests in reading don't overlap all that much. I am seriously thinking about adding my daughter's books to my library, as well, since many of them still reside here, but I feel that I would have to read them first to be fair about it.
