Sobre mimI'm a word person. I talk too much. I've always loved books. I write fiction and poetry. I've dabbled in writing stories and poems since I can remember, and the highlight of my writing life so far was the pubication of my novel, The Dangerous Sports Euthanasia Society.
As well as being a writer, I’m a qualified teacher and work part time as manager of an Adult Literacy & Numeracy Programme in North Birmingham.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaI have no idea how many books I've got - they're all over our house. I love the idea of sorting them into some kind of order and that's near the top of my list of 'Things to do when I retire'. Meanwhile, I have to cram my writing activities into any time-space I can make.

Thanks for asking to be my friend. I saw your talk at the Bookcrossing Convention in London and of course I have read your book and enjoyed both. Hope the difficult second book is going well!
Noticed you liked Vernon God Little, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my novel since it's also southern (and a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm currently out of physical copies). If you're interested, send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the e-book. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Hi Christine

I confess I haven't read your book yet but I hope to get to it soon. I love the title :)
Welcome welcome, it's an interesting place, isn't it. And there's just so much here! I'm sure there's plenty I've not stumbled across myself yet.

And I gave your book five stars because it's bloody fantastic :). Very human, funny and real in the right amounts and the right places. I shall be avidly reading anything else from your pen that crosses my path in future. Thank you for writing :).
Welcome, Christine! Nice to see you here.
