children's nonfiction/ science experiments and cooking (probably 3rd-6th grades).
Unlike a similar title from the Exploratorium folks, these experiments are things I can picture students and parents actually doing--the equipment and materials are all stuff you have or can easily get, and the science is integrated into cooking activities that kids will enjoy (red cabbage juice in your cookie batter resulting in pink and purple cookies!)
